Taking action against global warming

Hi everybody!
You are going to work on the global warming and the greenhouse effect.
Task 1 What's the global warming? Watch the video, answer the questions and find out.

Task 2 Watch the videos, answer the questions  and write down ten tips to reduce your carbon footprint:

Task 3: create an infographic where you suggest top ten tips to reduce your carbon footprints. 
The best infographics will be posted both on my blog and on the school website.  
Go to the Web Tools and App section and find a web tool to create your infographic


Task 4: watch the video, answer the questions and write down top ten energy sources for the future.





Task 5:  write an interview for a radio programme about top ten energy sources for the future.

Student A: You are a radio journalist in charge of writing an interview to an expert of top ten energy sources for the future. (interviewer)
Student B: You are an expert being interviewed by a radio journalist on top ten energy sources for the future. (interviewee)

The interview has to include the following information:
-    Greetings
-   Presentation of programme (how is it called? Which issues does it deal  with? Is it local or national? How many times a week is it on air?)
-      Presentation of the interviewee (name, job, why did you choose him/her?)
-  Questions and answers about the energy sources for the future (Choose the best  energy source for the future according to you)
-      Personal opinions and suggestions
-       Final thanks and greetings

Task 6: role play the situation and record the dialogue using your device, post it on google classroom!

At The Restaurant - IJ

"At the Restaurant" is an activity of the teacher  Chicca Braghini
"The menu" is an activity of the teacher Irene Bressan




Task 1
Watch the videos and write down the food and drink vocabulary of the videos on your notebooks:

Food
Fruit
Vegetables
Containers and Quantities
Food and Quantity

Task 2
Create a menu for the opening of your new restaurant.
1) Is your menu divided into three parts at least?
2) Are there at least three dishes for each part of the menu?
3) Have all dishes their price?
4) Does the menu describe the dish of the day or any other special offer?
5) Have you used a digital application or on line webtools to create the menu?
6) Have you checked the meaning of the new words in the dictionary?
7) Have you spoken English (80%) all the time?
8) Have you actively cooperate in order to achieve your final goal?

Task 3
Watch the videos and try to write down the expressions to use in a restaurant.

Task 4
Write a dialogue at the restaurant. Role play the situation and shoot a short video (max 3 minutes) about it.
A customer is coming in your new restaurant. The waiter shows the menu and the customer chooses the food and the drink he wants.
